GODFLESH on Decompression Magazine #4, September issue (hi-res)
Justin Broadrick’s long time collaborator Kevin Martin just recently dropped a new album as The Bug after 6 years. Justin has guitar cameos on tracks ‘The One’ and ‘Fat Mac’. Above is an instrumental outtake track that didn’t make it to the album and originally had Broadrick on vocals
Admin here, apologies for using the JKB blog to promote this album, but I think it is somewhat related and it is for a good cause.
This compilation album is dedicated to the great ambient musician John Everall who is sadly dying from stomach cancer. I am not the best in introducing people, but those who are unfamiliar: John ran Sentrax records in the 90s that put out music by Justin Broadrick (as Final) who has been ridiculously influential to me, Mick Harris (as Lull), and Everall has collaborated with Coil and numerous times with with M.J. Harris. I have, very recently, recorded a synthesizer drone improvisation for this massive compilation and the company is great - Anthony Child (Surgeon), Andrew Liles (NWW / C93) among others. It’s for a good cause - all the proceeds will go to Everall’s funeral expenses when he passes on.

FINAL - Dedicated to Greenland
